Short version: Ops Ex-G Tracker stores only what you choose to enter. Your data is yours — we don't share it, sell it, or use it for anything other than running the app for you. You can delete everything at any time.
What this app is
Ops Ex-G Tracker is an independent tool that lets users log their own overtime shifts and calculate their own earnings. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Scottish Prison Service.
All shift data, pay rates, hours, and earnings figures displayed in the app are entered by the user themselves. The app does not generate, verify, or take responsibility for the accuracy of any figures — users enter and manage their own information.
What data is stored
- Your email address and name — to create and identify your account
- Shift records you enter — dates, hours, rate type, notes
- Settings you configure — pay rates and bank holidays
- Optional feedback — only if you choose to submit a rating
Financial goals and salary estimates are stored on your device only and are never sent to our servers.
How your data is used
Your data is used only to provide the app — syncing your shifts across devices and showing you your own records. It is never used for advertising, analytics, or shared with any third party for commercial purposes.
Where data is stored
Data is stored using Supabase, a cloud database provider with infrastructure in the European Union. No other third parties have access to your data.
Security
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS
- Each user can only access their own records (Row Level Security)
- Passwords are never stored in plain text
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. You can export your shift data as a CSV or delete all records using the tools in the app's Settings tab. To request full account deletion, use the feedback form in the app.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date above will be updated. Continued use of the app means you accept the current policy.
